Earth’s Hope is the community based on environmental protection and sustainable development research and work done by the Environmental Education Media Project (EEMP), a non-profit with offices in China, the US, Germany, Korea, India, and Mongolia.

The EEMP began work in the Loess Plateau in 1995, joined with the Television Trust for the Environment (TVE International) and the Chinese Environmental Protection Agency (CEPA) now the Ministry of Environment in 1997 to build nationwide distribution for environmental films.   EEMP formally registered in California as a 501 c 3 non-profit in 2002.  Since then it has been registered in Hong Kong, India and Germany and has worked in many countries around the world.
